World Monuments Fund Pop Up Installation

The World Monuments Fund (WMF) is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and preserving significant cultural heritage sites around the world. It works to safe-guard historic places that are threatened by climate change, urban development, and neglect.

Through its projects, WMF collaborates with local communities, governments, and researchers to restore and conserve these sites in ways that respect their historical and cultural significance.

The goal is this project is to translates World’s Monument Fund into a portable experience. Using its signature deep blue, the installation unfolds into zones for VR, exhibition, public
interaction, and donation, guiding visitors from awareness to action. Through integrated technology, projects imagery, and tactile materials inspired by historic sites, the design fosters connection and participation in preserving global cultural heritage.
