Coquette Rustic Bird House

This project was a tribute to Western Bluebird. With the high rates of population decline in the Western Bluebird due to its competition for nest sites, the project was aim to create a bird house for them to nest and protect nursing bird mothers and babies. Not only that I need to come up with an aesthetically pleasing bird house but also functional. Oak wood is the most ideal form of material for this project and it is also susceptible for outdoor use. The project itself is completely 100% handmade through wood work, non-toxic low VOCs paint as well as recyclable materials for the decorations.
