Guinea Pig ADU

This project was to design an ADU based off an actual size of student's backyard. The purpose of this project was to transform the ADU space for personal use. It can be such as an office, a bedroom, closet, design studio, pets, etc. I have decided to go with designing a space for my guinea pigs. The goal is to have a beautiful home my piggies as well as think of the space as a place for me to hangout with my pets. Some of the basic requirements for the layout is that there need to be windows and doors that address ADA, sufficient air and lighting. In addition, I need a space where I can have not just the cages for my guinea pigs but also a fridge to store food, storage units for supplies and sinks along with washer and dryer for cleaning purposes. This project was 3D model on SketchUp. At the end of the project, students are allowed to use AI tool of choice to 3D render and turn their 3D model into realistic imagery.
